Luang Prabang is a small city located in north central of Laos, on the east bank of the Mekong River, on a peninsula at the confluence of the Nam Khan and Mekong rivers.It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995.
After visiting Luang Prabang, you will take a short flight to Vientiane.
Vientiane is the capital and largest city in Laos. Located on the banks of the Mekong River, Vientiane is a city steeped in legend and history. The city is the home of the massive gilded stupa, Pha That Luang, a national symbol of Laos. The streets are lined with trees, French colonial buildings, street markets, Buddhist temples, and noodle shops. Just outside the city is Buddha Park, a garden littered with over 200 cement sculptures depicting the gods and monsters of Buddhist and Hindu myth.

Day 1: Luang Prabang
Meet upon arrival at the airport, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Vat Mai Temple, which was the residence of a Buddhist patriarch until 1975 before climbing Phousi Hill for an outstanding view over the former Royal capital and the Mekong River.
Then enjoy the sunset along the Mekong River at Vat Phabath Tai and spend some time strolling through the H’Mong market.

Day 2: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou
After breakfast, take a traditional riverboat for a 2-hour cruise up the Mekong River to Pak Ou, at the confluence of the Nam Ou and Mekong Rivers, to visit the sacred caves of Tham Ting and Tham Phum, home to hundreds of Buddha statues. On the way, stop at Ban Xang Hai village where sticky rice wine is distilled. Return to Luang Prabang and visit the National Museum (formerly the Royal Palace) with its collection of personal artifacts of the Laos Royal Family. Visit Vat Xieng Thong, regarded as the most beautiful temple in Luang Prabang with low sweeping roofs.

Day 3: Luang Prabang – Vientiane
After breakfast, time at leisure until your transfer to the airport to take your flight to Vientiane. Meet upon arrival, transfer and check-in at your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Vat Sisaket, the only original temple in Vientiane (built in 1818 – it is the sole survivor of a Thai invasion in 1828), the Ho Phrakeo, the former Royal Chapel where an Emerald Buddha dating back to the time of the Lane Xang Kingdom was enshrined, the Patouxai and That Luang Stupa (The symbol of LAO PDR)
Overnight in Vientiane.
